Purchasing & Inventory Control Staff

Summary of Position

This position is responsible for handling purchasing activities for both indirect items and local raw materials, including processing PRs/POs, vendor communication, order tracking, and payment requests. The role ensures compliance with company policies and ISO standards, coordinates with internal departments, monitors supplier performance, manages receiving and issuing of materials in SAP, and supports urgent purchasing needs as assigned.

Job Description

• Process PRs and issue POs (indirect items & local materials); track deliveries and follow up with suppliers to ensure timely receipt.

• Communicate and negotiate with vendors on quotations, lead times, product/service quality; conduct price comparisons and propose new vendors when needed.

• Maintain purchasing records (quotations, POs, delivery notes, invoices) in compliance with company policies and ISO requirements.

• Coordinate with internal departments (Admin, Marketing, Maintenance, Production, etc.) to meet purchasing needs.

• Monitor supplier performance and participate in vendor review discussions.

• Oversee receiving of local materials at the material store and issuing to Production in SAP.

• Prepare and submit payment requests for suppliers.

• Support urgent requests and perform other tasks assigned by the Supervisor/Management.

Job Requirements :

• Age: 23 – 35 years old

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Foreign Trade, Finance, or a related field

• Minimum 1 year of experience in Purchasing, Supply Chain, or a related manufacturing industry

• Advanced skills in MS Office, especially Excel (advanced formulas, pivot tables, etc.) and PowerPoint

• Knowledge of SAP/ERP systems is a strong plus

• Good command of English (both written and spoken)

• Proven ability to deliver results under tight deadlines, with a consistent ability to perform well under pressure
