Purchasing Controller

We’re seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing Controller to oversee and control procurement activities - analyzing costs, monitoring budgets, coordinating with suppliers, and ensuring timely, cost-effective purchasing operations. You’ll collaborate closely with internal teams and vendors to maintain transparency, efficiency, and compliance across the supply chain.

1. Cost Control & Analysis

• Monitor purchasing budgets and analyze variances between actual and planned spending.

• Identify cost-saving opportunities and propose corrective actions.

• Verify purchase requests and purchase orders to ensure cost alignment with approved budgets.

• Support monthly closing activities related to purchasing accruals, provisions, and reporting.

2. Reporting & Forecasting

• Prepare periodic reports on purchasing performance, KPIs, and supplier cost trends.

• Assist in forecasting purchasing expenses and updating annual budgets.

• Provide management with analytical insights for decision-making and supplier negotiations.

3. Compliance & Process Control

• Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, internal controls, and audit requirements.

• Monitor adherence to purchasing procedures and approval limits.

• Support internal and external audit processes related to procurement.

4. Coordination & Support

• Collaborate with Procurement & Logistics, Finance, and other departments to improve cost transparency.

• Support the implementation of digital tools or modules for purchasing control.

• Assist in process improvement projects aimed at efficiency and cost optimization.

5. 6S Program & Cross-Department Collaboration

* Working time: Monday - Friday: 8:00 - 16:30, Saturday: 8:00 - 12:00 & 1 Saturday off per month
* Shuttle bus provided from Ho Chi Minh (Hang Xanh - Thu Duc)/ Dong Nai (Bien Hoa) to Long Thanh Industrial Zone

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• Experience in controlling, purchasing analysis, or finance.
• Good knowledge of purchasing processes and cost accounting.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
• English proficiency (written and spoken).
