Be the public face and voice of Grab in the Philippines for media interviews, and on a case to case basis, for press conferences, roundtables and other public speaking opportunities
Fully absorb and understand all aspects of Grab’s different services and verticals and be able to speak about them in a concise, no non-sense, smart manner that is easily understood and appreciated by the general public.
Attend and participate in internal meetings that may need to be communicated to the public and government.
Support the Country Head in his work pertaining to other verticals, services and stakeholders
Support the Public Affairs team in its activities relevant to Public Policy and Government Relations.
Proactively support other local departments as may be assigned on a regular basis
The must haves
Female, member of the bar
5- 8 years of experience in Corporate Law or working in the public sector
Experience or exposure with working for a technology company or government regulator are key advantages
Possesses excellent communications skills in both English and Filipino and can establish good, personal rapport with members of media.
strong relationships with journalists focused on the tech space
Strong experience working directly in government communications and interacting with government stakeholders
Superb conversationalist with excellent non-verbal communications skills and the ability to navigate through difficult questioning and directing the outcome of negative interviews.
Super sharp & intelligent thinker with excellent strategic thinking skills
Proactive and creative problem solver with an ability to adapt well and respond to a fast‐paced environment
