Position Summary
The PMC Manager is the central hub for planning and material control, ensuring a seamless flow from material procurement to finished goods. The key challenge is to masterfully synchronize production across multiple divisions (Upholstery, Metal, Solid Wood, Packaging) for complex multi-material products, while managing a sophisticated supply chain with critical components sourced from China via our affiliated trading company. Your mission is to optimize production schedules, minimize Work-in-Progress (WIP) inventory, maximize inventory turnover, and ensure on-time delivery.
Key Responsibilities
1. Master Production Scheduling & Synchronization:
- Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) and detailed shop floor schedules.
- Plan and sequence production orders across all divisions to ensure synchronized flow, particularly for multi-material products (e.g., Upholstery + Metal Frame + Solid Wood), achieving simultaneous convergence at the packaging line.
- Monitor real-time production progress, identify bottlenecks, and execute dynamic scheduling adjustments to meet targets.
2. Material Requirements Planning & Global Logistics Coordination:
- Execute precise Material Requirements Planning (MRP) to determine material needs.
- Collaborate closely with the sister Trading Company in China to establish and maintain an accurate phased-delivery schedule for imported materials, aligning seamlessly with the production plan.
- Proactively monitor raw material inventory, in-transit status, and consumption patterns.
3. Inventory & Flow Optimization:
- Implement and lead WIP reduction initiatives to streamline flow between workshops.
- Manage overall inventory levels (Raw Materials, WIP, Finished Goods) with a focus on significantly improving inventory turnover rates.
- Oversee cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
4. Department Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Lead, mentor, and develop the PMC team.
- Serve as the primary liaison between Procurement, Quality, Warehouse, Production Divisions, and the external Trading Partner.
- Lead daily/weekly production and material review meetings to ensure alignment and rapid issue resolution.
5. Process Improvement & Systems Management:
- Continuously improve planning, scheduling, and inventory control processes.
- Leverage the ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle) to its full potential for data integrity and planning efficiency.
- Analyze KPIs (On-Time Delivery, Schedule Attainment, Inventory Turnover) and drive continuous improvement projects.

Experience Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in a PMC/Supply Chain management role, with at least 3 years in a large-scale, complex manufacturing environment (e.g., Furniture, Garmen, Automotive, Electronics, Appliances).
- Demonstrable expertise in managing production synchronization for products with complex Bills of Materials (BOM) across multiple production lines or workshops.
- Strong experience in international supply chain coordination, particularly with Chinese suppliers. Experience with phased deliveries is a plus.
- High proficiency in MRP/MPS principles and hands-on experience with a major ERP system (SAP is highly preferred).
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work under pressure in a multicultural setting.
- Fluent in English (both written and spoken)
Preferred: Experience with Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma methodologies.
Personal Quality Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal skills and execution ability in planning.
- Clear logical thinking, ability to collect, organize, and analyze data and build a planning database; sensitive to numbers with the ability to detect production data anomalies in time.
- Strong coordination and communication skills; able to handle unexpected anomalies promptly and effectively.
