Operations Manager, GrabWheels

Get to know the Role:

GrabWheels is Grab’s Personal Mobility Device (PMD) business. We aim to provide a portfolio of safe, affordable and accessible personal mobility solutions to power smart and sustainable cities.

As the Jakarta Operations Manager, you and your team will be managing our fleet of PMDs across the city to ensure their safety and availability to our customers.

The day-to-day activities (non-exhaustive):

• Operational planning to support growth of the business in Jakarta

• Recruit and supervise a team of staff to manage warehouse and field operations

• Source for and manage vendors to ensure operational efficiency

• Establish processes / metrics / standards for excellence and drive the team towards operational excellence

• Track and monitor operations costs and budgets

• Strong logistics planning ability

• Hustle and problem solve in the face of ambiguity; prioritise and re-prioritize quickly and effectively

The must haves:

• At least 5 years of work experience

• Experience in leading teams of varying qualifications / blue collar

• Strong leadership skills

• Entrepreneurial & resourceful – Able to put on different hats

• Advanced and above in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)

• Passion for micro mobility
