GrabExpress is an on-demand parcel delivery service that enables users to send items such as documents, parcels, and gifts to their business partners, family and friends.
The GrabExpress team in Malaysia is fairly new, just like the business. As with any new business, we work in a fast-paced and sometimes unstructured environment to make things happen, and are looking for individuals with an entrepreneurial and hands-on spirit to join us.
Get to know the Role:
The GrabExpress Operations team handles a key component of the business – the delivery partners.
The team is responsible to ensure that supply is successfully managed and well-positioned to meet changing demand levels and patterns.
As the Operations Lead/Manager, you will be expected to have a hands-on approach as well as leverage data and analysis in your day-to-day responsibilities
The day-to-day activities:
Support day to day operations of the GrabExpress business which includes supply management and positioning
Analyze driver data, develop plans/initiatives to increase driver performance and productivity
Coordinate with other teams, e.g. centralized operations, acquisition, training, communications, incentives and payments, marketing and business teams, to ensure smooth operations and achieve targets
Engage with drivers to retain them on the platform, including assisting to solve issues and concerns
The must haves:
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in any field (preferably in business, management or marketing field)
Minimum 3 years’ experience in operations-related roles
Also helpful is experience in a start-up /entrepreneurial environment
