Merchandising Manager

• At least 8 years’ experience as Merchandising Manager for garment/apparel Company. Prefer candidate who has worked in garment factory
• Strong experience in management skills, communication skills, and problem- solving skills
• Excellence level (READ/WRITE/SPEAK/LISTEN) in English & Vietnamese
• Good command of Mandarin will be a PLUS.
• Factory experience is a must
• Experienced in product development and production follow up
• Knowledge in sweater products are preferable
• Able to work and deal with overseas buyers and suppliers independently
• Mature, responsible, detail-minded, well organized, self-motivated and able to work under pressure
• Familiar with operating Microsoft Applications

• Monitor all the activities of merchandising team
• Order and shipment follow up
• Ensure the yarn and trims are meet the requirement of customers
• Responsible to ensure the quality, and styling/workmanship of samples are meet the customers’ expectations and requirements
• Coordinate with sample room team to make sure the relevant information and samples are provided accurately such as relevant SMV and other samples’ information.
• Responsible for negotiating with relevant suppliers to get the best price / product properties / lead time based on the requirement of customers
• Involve in communicating and negotiating with customers (e.g. product details, delivery dates, quotation……etc.)
• Work in Warehouse Department to check leftover materials (yarn and trims) inventory, investigates reasons for leftover, and initiates appropriate action.
• Be in charge to work with production manager to resolve late-delivery or yarn quality problems
• Responsible to ensure T&A is properly developed and accepted by the customer
• Work closely with Production team at the factory to take action in case of production problems that might affect the quality and progress of the bulk garments
• Support and train staffs
