Grab for Business is the B2B team within Grab that helps to simplify business transportation and related services for companies across Southeast Asia. We actively engage with a wide network of companies across the region and want to ensure that client success is paramount in our organisation. To this end, we are looking for a strong Key Account Managers in our Grab for Business Indonesia team to manage and grow an expanding portfolio of top customers.

To perform this role well candidate needs to have strong communication skills, attention to detail, ability to create and follow processes, and a track record of exceeding expectations.



The day-to-day activities:

  • Responsible for achieving GMV targets at key clients

  • Focus on large strategic accounts that are named by the GfB Management

  • Lead sales activities to Clients from initial presentation, negotiation, purchase order, socialization, service delivery and clients experience.

  • To coordinate with Assistant Account Manager to get data for sales proposal, data for account analysis, legal document related to letter and contracts, billing issues, and sales program with internal departments such as operations team, marketing team, legal and other divisions (4W, 2W, Food, BD, etc) to ensure efficient execution and on-time delivery of projects/issues.

  • Serves as the primary interface with clients to answer questions, resolve issues and provide information.

  • Works with products, technical engineers and operations teams to ensure the quality of Grab’s services are produced per clients specifications.

  • Regularly communicates with and updates clients regarding program progress, services status (number of rides, number of complaints, etc).

  • Develop account sales plan based of Line Manager guidance (Account Map, Sales Forecast Monthly and Quarterly) 

  • Helps problem solve pricing and/or service issues to ensure client satisfaction.

  • Maintains and monitors issues for each sales program to ensure an effective sales program.

  • Performs risk management and escalates to management appropriately (such as providing forecast to predict bad AR in the future or competitor movement in the client side).

  • Ensures compliance with internal standards, processes and procedures.

  • Performs other duties as assigned by Line Manager.



The must haves:

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree (minimum).

  • Work Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of key account management and/or sales experience within a fast-paced and highly competitive B2B, enterprise or corporate environment (direct customer facing role). Proven and successful track record in establishing strong client relationships. A suitable candidate will have an impressive track record in meeting and exceeding sales targets.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to effectively network with customers and the overall Grab business. 

  • Communication: Strong and effective communicator with good presentation and speaking skills who can verbally and visually articulate their point of view clearly and succinctly.

  • Ambitious, self-driven and highly motivated individual who can work well in a VUCA (Volatile, Uncertain, Complex, Ambiguous) environment. Should have a deep desire to excel and develop a career in business sales & account management. Should have demonstrated integrity and respect in the performance of their duties.

  • Proficiency in customer experience tools (CRM tools, reporting dashboards).

  • Comfortable with data analysis (MS Office, Google Docs / Sheets / Slides).

  • Excellent people skills and experience establishing, maintaining and leveraging on relationships and professional networks (inside and outside Grab) to strategically position, pitch and enable adoption of Grab for Business Solution and other portfolio that may added moving forward.
