About the Team
The Employer Brand team is responsible for positioning Grab as an employer of choice. We strategise and execute on effective brand awareness and recruitment marketing campaigns, for both digital and offline platforms, in order to attract and retain the best talents in the market. You can think of us as a creative agency within Grab, that offers exclusive marketing support and brand consultation to both the business and Talent Acquisition teams.
The Employer Brand team is looking for a production intern, who is able to support our Creative Producer on all aspects of film and photography production. It is a unique role which allows you to get involved in the full production journey - from talent coordination, prop sourcing, to on-shoot logistics, and post-production editing. But that’s not all. You’ll also get to see your ideas come to life - you’ll be involved in brainstorms and even get to produce your own series (if you’re up for it)!
Duties and Responsibilities
To create a scalable process for regular always-on video productions such as G! News and introduction videos
Involve in Pre-production - be the glue between talents, vendors and the team
Coordinate call sheets seamlessly, book talents and venues, source for props and wardrobe, write scripts, and bring ideas on paper to life.
Involve in Production assistance - assist with camera/lights/audio setup on set, direct talents on set, make sure legal releases are signed,
Post-production - photo editing, footage review, video editing with natural colour grading, coordinate feedback and approval checks
Learning Objectives
To experience the full cycle of a production, created by an in-house team
To understand the client's brief and be able to articulate creative output proposals
To exercise creative problem solving to scale up video production with a small team
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (esp. Lightroom and Premiere Pro), Google Suite, Workplace, Sony camera Kit
Requirements
Only for candidates who are available from Jan - Jun 2020
Associate, Poly or Undergraduate in Production, Film, New Media, Mass Communications, Art Design & Media
Technical knowledge of production (setting up camera (Sony) /audio/lights)
Intermediate Adobe Creative Suite skills (esp. Lightroom and Premiere Pro)
Storytelling through film and photography
Great people communicator to connect with talents on set fast
Proactive attitude and ace team player
Detail oriented as shoot coordination can get complicated
