Get to know the Role:

You will be part of the marketing team in Grab, and will witness and contribute to the exciting changes in transportation and new business verticals for Grab in Cambodia.
As a Senior Marketing Manager, you will report to Grab Cambodia’s Country Head, and will spearhead the planning of marketing strategies in order to build the Grab brand. You will oversee the execution of various offline and online campaigns, while managing budgets and targets.
 

You’ll lead a cross-functional team that oversees PR, social media, partnerships, market research, and online/offline user acquisition. Pace of change is both refreshing and terrifying. Whatever your background you will need to be ready to operate start-up style.

The day-to-day activities:

● Demonstrate strategic thinking and planning: Design marketing strategies independently that includes market and competitive analysis, customer segment selection, and plans that support business growth while enhancing brand equity.
● Grow Grab’s consumers: Drive growth of Grab’s consumers across various businesses through disruptive, effective, and hyperlocal marketing efforts.
● Build brand love for Grab: Ensure that the brand’s positioning, value proposition and messaging are relevant for Cambodians consumers across all touch points. You may at times work with Grab’s regional Brand Marketing team.
● Shape social media narratives and public relations: Proactively manage relationships with the media to create positive publicity and engage public support. You may at times work with Grab’s regional Communications team.
● Develop and oversee the execution of online and offline marketing campaigns: Work with the local marketing team to develop innovative and creative campaigns, and optimising these campaigns across various channels through the use of analytics. You may at times work with Grab’s regional Digital Marketing team.
● Inspire and lead a team: Provide leadership guidance and deliver high-quality marketing. Guide each team member through their personal growth, skills development and career progression with Grab.
● Manage country marketing budget and business targets: Manage the local country marketing budget and own quarterly KPIs for both campaigns and business results
● Maintain strong agency relationships: Identify and engage trustworthy external vendors that are committed to deliver high quality work for creative, PR, media buying, events and merchandise, etc. for Grab.

The must haves:


● At least 8 years of relevant marketing experience, both on strategic planning and execution (experience with Internet, mobile and/or digital product is a huge plus)
● Bachelor degree, with a focus on Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Public Relations and/or Business Administration
● Excellent knowledge of the local market, deep understanding of consumer insights and media landscape.
● Familiar with the entire marketing mix – you have a good knowledge of how and when to leverage different marketing channels from above-the-line to direct response and brand activation.
● Results oriented and data driven: Ability to make data-informed decisions for marketing plan. Proven track record of success in achieving targets on time in a rapid growth, start-up environment.
● Highly detail-oriented: Ensure the quality of all marketing materials and communications; and manage budget
● A natural leader who has the ability to motivate and coach a team of diverse team members with different experience levels and skill sets
● Resourceful and creative: Knack for identifying great marketing creative. You work well with creative people, knowing how they need to be briefed and managed in order to deliver the most impactful creative work.
● Fluent in both written and spoken Khmer and English
