Consumer Business Manager - GrabFinancial

The GrabFinancial Consumer Business Team focuses on consumer payment use cases, fund-in/ fund-out, and overall wallet/passthrough experience that directly impact the various consumer usage. The team covers areas such as Product launches, Marketing budgets, Market Strategies, Cost of fund and Use cases’ performance metrics and P&L to grow the overall business

Get to know the Role:

• Serve as Regional Business Owner of consumer payment use cases such as Digital Goods (Airtime, Billpay, Gaming, Deals, etc.), Remittance, P2P, etc. by driving new launches and continuously improve the performance of use cases across various markets

• Oversee overall GrabPay (Wallet & Passthrough) usage, performance metrics, and user experience

The day-to-day activities:

• Conduct market research to identify opportunities

• Product prioritization

• Lead commercial arrangement and discussion with partners or vendors

• Launch new use cases and expand across markets

• Manage overall GrabPay's and use cases’ performance metrics by providing input on marketing, product improvement and solving critical issues

• Drive the launch, expansion, and performance of Driver Wallet

• Coordinate with other functions (e.g. Product, Engineering, Compliance, Risk, Customer Experience, Finance, etc.) and country teams

• Work with external partners or vendors to deliver quality products or services

• Analyze use cases’ P&L to provide business direction

• Ensure exceptional user experience on the wallet

The must haves:

• Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Engineering or relevant field
• MBA or Master Degree is preferred
• 5+ years of work experience
• 3+ years of experience in Payment, Management Consulting, Banking, or eCommerce
• Understanding of payment business
• Experience in a fast-paced multi-country, multi-vertical industry
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, project management, communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent relationship builder, open to direction and collaborative work style and commitment to get the job done
