Get to know the Role:
Compensation & Benefits Specialist (C&B Specialist) is responsible for managing People Database, HRIS, and Compensation & Benefits area (e.g. manage payroll outsource, bonus & benefits arrangement) to ensure alignment with regional reward policies, and efficiency of relevant work processes (accuracy, timeliness, impact on attraction and retention).
Key Role & Responsibility:
People Database and HRIS
- Administer people database on WorkDay System as well as employee data filing.
- Responsible for processing all employee data changes (e.g. transfer) and ensuring the data integrity of records.
- Ensure changes to employee records are updated
- Update and maintain the Time and Attendance system, Shift Pattern
- Job Description Data Bank / Job Code administration
- Job Grade related check against predefined guidelines.
C&B Management
- Manage C&Bs Programs/Policy/Processes roll out and C&B administration (e.g. Grab Flexible Benefits Program).
- Work with regional team in driving annual performance management including compensation & benefits processes.
- Ensure execution and delivery of C&B services according to defined SLA(s).
- Communicate information regarding policies/standards on C&B to stakeholders as needed.
- Manage payroll process and ensuring all basic data (e.g. OT, Allowances, Severance Pay) are computed correctly and distributed on time as per the payroll process guidelines
- Establish internal controls and measures to track and complete documentation for future audits
- Assist in review procedures, and work process relating to compensation & benefit management to support the organization’s direction and ensure local compliance and propose for management approval.
- Recommend enhancements and simplification of existing C&B processes and procedures based on experience with stakeholders.
- Ensure appropriate service delivery support for internal stakeholders and oversee accurate and timely processing of information with all stakeholders.
- Prepare information and documents for external authorities for audit purposes.
- Assist Head of Country Pops on headcounts management and budgeting.
- Lead process improvement projects as and when required.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in any field (preferred HR, Finance, Economics) with minimum 2-3 years-experience in payroll and 2-3 years-experience in C&B.
- Have working experiences in multi international companies, preferably from Tech or e-commerce industry.
- Good command of English with strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good proficiency in MS Office (MS excel, MS word, Power Point) especially excel should be excellent.
- Good at analyzing, organizing and managing within deadlines.
