This team will focus on ensuring that Grab’s self created Kitchens offer the best in class experience to merchants, eaters and drivers. The team will look to collaborate with local and regional stakeholders to create processes that deliver an experience that will keep bring customers back.
Get to know the Role:
The Assistant Operations Manager for Grab Kitchens will be in charge of growing and improving the operations of existing and future GrabKitchens. You will be expected to continuously improve on day-to-day operations, as well as identify strategic initiatives that are meant to address any problems/opportunities of the business. You will be exposed to data analytics, project management, and restaurant operations.
The day-to-day activities:
Identify strategic locations to launch new kitchens.
Determine what merchants are to be part of kitchens.
Track, monitor and improve kitchen sales performance.
Improve day to day kitchen operational processes.
Ensuring operational spend vs budget in on track.
The must haves:
Minimum 2-3 years of primary experience in sales and merchant acquisition, and/or launching new markets
Minimum 2-3 years of start up, management consulting or operations background is preferred.
Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field with a strong academic track record
Can effectively communicate in English and Filipino
Analytical mindset for decision making
Experience working in a fast paced and dynamic environment
Entrepreneurial & resourceful – Able to put on different hats
A “can-do” attitude
Able to bridge, connect and maintain relationships with local stakeholders both internal and external, as well as lateral and vertical
Able to communicate plans and proposed ideas well
Strong knowledge of the local market, particularly in the food-tech or merchants vertical is a bonus.
Flexibility and willingness to travel.
Advanced and above in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
