Assistant Director - VIP Butler

Duties may include but not limited to: 

• Responsible for reviewing daily event sheets, group notes, VIP arrivals and meeting schedule locations.
• Remain calm and alert, especially during emergency and/or heavy casino activity.
• Utilize computer equipment to analyze forecast, cost, revenue reports, and budget. Ability to make decisions based on that information to ensure profit maximization.
• Thorough knowledge of Club Lounge/casino operations including foods, beverage, supervisory aspects, service techniques and guest interaction.
• Field guest complaints, conduct through research to develop the most effective solutions and negotiate results. Listen and extend assistance in order to resolve problems. Plan and implement detailed defect resolution steps by using experienced judgment and discretion.
• Responsible for assisting the club lounge area during high traffic times to assist the team and to ensure smooth operations.
• Responsible for the training, supervision, coaching/disciplining, scheduling and performance evaluations of the VIP Butler Team.
• Responsible for escorting guest to accommodations, visually inspects rooms while completing room orientation and report any and all deficiencies to housekeeping immediately.
• Responsible for serving food, coffee, water and other beverages to guests/clients as required by guest/clients.
• Alerted of guest’s arrival at Front Office and escorts to VIP lounge check in and up to their room and performs orientation, explaining services and ways to contact their Butler team. If unable to meet guest upon arrival, they are responsible to properly communicate this to the team so an alternate member may greet.
• In liaise with hotel side, make sure that arrival rooms are set up to the specifications of the guest with detailed responsibility towards all preferences and special requests inclusive of floral and F&B amenities or stored items.
• Communicates with Casino Hosts on status of their guests’ enjoyment of their stay and any concerns that they need to be aware of.
• Fulfill unpacking/ packing request when requested.
• Ensure all Butlers have knowledge of in all services, technology, amenities, functions & systems.
• Inform other operating departments of matters related to Butler operations, notably Front Office, to ensure VIP status is communicated.
• Identify and anticipate Guests’ needs and ensure personalized service is provided.
• Oversee all Butlers and the day-to-day operation of the department.
• Other duties as assigned.
