Main Purpose of the Job
Reporting to the AVP of International Marketing Department and responsible for developing business and implement strategic international business plans. Stays abreast of changes in assigned marketing environment to best serve the objectives of the organization and adjusts plans accordingly. He or she is responsible for selling and promote HOIANA Resort.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
Duties may include but not limited to:
- Responsible for directing the overall business plan and team of Business Development Department. Develops, implements and manages business goals and monitors achievements of performance and profit objectives
- Develops and implements marketing strategies to maximize volume and market share; investigates potential opportunities for incremental revenue.
- Builds loyalty and develops sustained effective relationships among valued VIP customers; establishes and maintains relationships with industry influencers and key community and strategic partners.
- Setting measurable goals for Business Development Managers with regards to growing high end play and generating more play out of the current database.
- Ensures that scheduling is done in an effective and efficient manner to ensure coverage at peak time to support VIP customers and events, while maintaining labor costs, meeting staffing objectives and achieving guest satisfaction.
- Responsible for preparing, monitoring and adhering to budgets and ensuring compliance to departmental budget initiatives. Reports budget concerns / deviations to the Assistant Vice President of International Marketing. Ensure effective control of business results and takes corrective action to guarantee that achievement of marketing objectives falls within designated budgets.
- Guide preparation of business sales activity reports and present to executive management.
- Supports and maintains a consistent property image throughout all product lines, promotional materials, and events.
- Ensures effective utilization and maintenance of CRM system
- Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs. Ensures customer service standards are followed by all team members and addresses issues as they arise.
- Availability for evening, weekend and holiday work is required.
- Responsible for ensuring the compliance with all regulatory compliance within area of responsibility and reporting potential issues to Assistant Vice President of International Marketing.
