About the team:

The Engineering & Development Team in Singapore help build Southeast Asia’s leading everyday super app to provide transportation, logistics and financial services to millions across the region.

We have exciting internship opportunities available in several teams, including Transport, GrabCar, GrabFood, GrabAds, Grab for Business, GrabFinancial, GrabVentures, InfoSecurity, Mobile Platforms and many more!

Requirements:

• Full-time student majoring in Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Analytics, Data Science, Statistics, Information Technology/Science, Mathematics, Accounting, Finance or related fields seeking a matriculated internship
• You are enrolled in a Singapore university, Singaporean or PR studying abroad
• Be able to commit full-time from January to June 2020, for a minimum of 20 weeks
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Positive attitude and can-do spirit
• Excellent analytical and critical thinking skills
• Willing to learn and challenge
• Team players who are motivated to work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with Data Engineering, Analytics or other related fields is an advantage for these roles
• Good data structure and algorithms with adequate coding background
• Knowledgeable in programming tools such as Go, Java, Javascript, Kotlin, Python, Node.js, SQL, C++, iOS development framework, Android development framework etc.

We require our interns in Singapore to be covered under the Employment Act (EA) and Work Injury Compensation (WICA) act. As such, our internship opportunities are limited to students of any nationality studying in Singapore, and Singaporean/PR studying in any location.
