White Wood Manager

Key responsibilities

• Plan and make sure there is always enough white wood for production.
• Check the quality of incoming wood and work with QA/QC to meet standards.
• Manage warehouse activities: storing, distributing, and using wood.
• Track and improve how materials are used to reduce waste.
• Lead the white wood team: assign work, train staff, and review performance.
• Work with Planning, Purchasing, and Production teams to keep orders on time.
• Oversee daily operations, set priorities, and check efficiency at each station.
• Keep good communication between workers and management so rules and policies are clear.
• Make regular reports on stock, losses, and production results.
• Suggest better ways, new tools, or cost-saving ideas to improve productivity.

Key skills and experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Management, Wood Processing, Forestry, or related fields.
• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in materials management, preferably in the furniture/wood industry.
• Strong knowledge of white wood properties, production processes, storage, and preservation methods.
• Proven leadership, organizational, and team management skills.
• Proficient in MS Office; experience with ERP or warehouse management systems is an advantage.
• High integrity, attention to detail, responsibility, and ability to work under pressure.
