Job Description

Get to know the team:

The Ad Tech and Data Monetization team is responsible for building the infrastructure for serving ads into the Grab platform, thereby monetizing the most valuable data assets in Southeast Asia.

Get to know the Role:

• Ads and Data Monetization is Grab’s team that offers advertisers the ability to create personalized and relevant advertisements within Grab’s application suite. Ads revenue is expected to account for a significant portion of Grab’s revenue, and may help subsidize rides and other services, to the benefit of all in the Southeast Asia region.

• We are building campaign management tools for advertisers to create custom creatives for many locations within the Grab mobile application. These tools are the primary touch point for advertisers to create and manage their campaigns, and get reporting and feedback on how well they are doing.

• You will be working closely with the Ads backend team to help design and develop a cohesive product for our advertisers.

The day-to-day activities:

• Design and implement web-based workflows for advertisers, with guidance from the UX and PM and other team members.

• Integrate with the Ads backend and other services via REST and gRPC calls.

• Use modern, asynchronous web programming architectures to provide a responsive and seamless experience for advertisers

• You will be working with PM, business owners, UX, other web developers, and backend devs to create the ideal campaign management experience.

• The customer is external advertisers who wish to advertise to Grab users on Grab’s mobile platform.

Requirements:

• B.S. CS or equivalent

• Qualified to work in the U.S. and willing to relocate to Seattle

• React JavaScript or similar platform

• Familiar with HTTP, REST and service calls

• Experience with creating single-page web-based workflows and session state management.
