Position Overview

Dynamic Solutions International Vietnam is committed to providing our clients with solutions to their Water Resources, Hydrodynamic, Sediment Transport and Environmental challenges through innovative planning and engineering with the application of state of the art techniques and computer models and related tools. The engineer will contribute by developing and undertaking projects and providing engineering and hydrological expertise.

Yêu cầu công việc

Requirements

  • Civil or Environmental degree qualified
  • 2+ years experience
  • Excellent technical & presentation skills
  • English (good written and spoken)
  • Consultancy background desirable however not essential

Desirable

  • Experience with some appropriate software/programs: ArcGIS, MapInfo, AutoCAD, GIS, HEC-HMS.
  • Priority for candidates who has experience with some appropriate software/programs (EFDC_Explorer, MIKE3, MIKE11/MIKE21, DELFT-3D, HEC-RAS)

Job Specifics

Assist with:

  • Engineering software development, testing, and developing user guidance.
  • Hydrodynamic studies and modeling
  • Sediment transport studies and modeling
  • Water management studies
  • Wet-weather monitoring and data analysis
  • Hydrologic studies and modeling
  • Hydraulic studies and modeling

Other duties (on job-training)

  • Managing, planning, and conducting water resource studies in rivers, streams, lakes, reservoirs, estuary and coastal environments
  • Designing focused hydrologic and hydraulic data collection and monitoring programs
  • Flood analysis
  • Drainage studies
  • Water quality modeling
  • Coastal and inland hydrologic and hydraulic data collection and analysis studies, wave, water level and current measurements, shoreline surveys, instrument deployment and discharge measurements
  • Statistical analysis and information management
  • GIS application
