Vice-Director of Design (Hotels)

Lead and mentor the design team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence.

Oversee all design phases of construction projects, from conceptualization to completion, ensuring they meet client requirements, regulatory standards, timelines, and budgets.

Develop and implement cutting-edge design concepts for high-rise buildings, hotels, and resorts, ensuring functionality and aesthetic appeal.

Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and clients, to ensure cohesive and integrated project execution.

Maintain and enforce high standards of design quality and consistency across all projects.

Participate in strategic planning and contribute to the overall vision and direction of the company's design initiatives.

Manage project budgets, optimize resource allocation, and ensure cost-effective design solutions.

Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in design and construction to continually enhance the company's design capabilities.

Experienced in planning and managing large scale projects (>50ha) such as new urban areas, resorts, etc...

Other tasks as assigned by the company executives

At least 15 years of experience in design management for 5-star international standard hotels or resorts.

Experienced in design at foreign design consulting firms or in design management at enterprises as an investor.

Excellent stakeholder management skills.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Structural Engineering, or a related field.

Expertise in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Proven leadership and team management skills.
