Tooling Technician-Footwear

Tooling/ Comomnent Development, Commercialization, and Full-size Production Responsibilities:

1. Establish the manufacturing tooling/ component construction to meet quality design, ensure efficient production, and achieve target pricing
2. Inspection and approved the sample mold, commercialization, full-size production, support the PD team/Comercialization team/ OEM parthner factory
3. Inspection and approved the sample component, commercialization component, full-size production component support the PD team/Comercialization team/ OEM parthner factory
4. Assist the commercialization and production teams in technical transfers from sample to production and arrange for the repair of worn tooling to restore it to productive condition.
5. Provide tooling investment proposals for approval and share mold productivity information with relevant parties, internal teams and KEEN headquarters.
6. Maintain records database tooling and component supply chain inventory information.

Technical Issue Resolution:
Address technical issues related to tooling and component across all regions, including Vietnam and Cambodia, providing necessary ground support as per business requirements.

1. Internal organization deparment, component suppliers (sole, upper, accessories) shoe factories, mold shops

1. Technical Proficiency: A tooling/ component product engineer should possess strong technical skills related to footwear manufacturing processes.
2. Problem-solving Ability: This role requires the capability to identify and solve complex problems related to tooling/ component design and production.
3. Communication and Collaboration: Effective communication skills are crucial for collaborating with cross-functional teams, including design, supply chain , manufacturing, and quality assurance departments.
