Work Location: VSIP1 (HCMC, formerly Binh Duong)

Role Summary:

This position will act on the job (OTJ), technical training to all business units belonging to Coherent Vietnam to provide training-related support, coordination, administrative and delivering learning solutions to address operation training needs for Production Areas with a specific focus on providing OTJ, Technical training for direct labor employees and taking part in training-related projects to enhance the manufacturing performance through training solutions. This requires the co-ordination of the plant-wide level. Mand execution of plans in accordance with group standards and within the required KPI benchmarks.

  • Identify skill gaps and performance deviations; implement corrective training actions and provide feedback to management
  • Provide appropriate solutions or corrective actions for operational deviations within the training scope; collaborate with Engineering, Production, and Quality teams for problem-solving
  • Facilitate training programs aligned with the training library and established processes in partnership with functional departments and manufacturing operations
  • Evaluate post-training effectiveness through competency assessments, certification results, and manufacturing KPIs; drive continuous improvement initiatives
  • Administer and continuously improve the Training Management System, ensuring efficiency of training software, databases, and records
  • Lead, support, and coordinate training activities related to process development, procedures, and documentation, including skill matrices, forms, templates, materials, tools, training library and GRR tests.

Job requirement

Educational background: Bachelor’s Degree in any majors, educational background of Engineering & Technology is preferred.

Experience: 2+ years experience in similar roles.

Abilities:

  • Skilled at implementing and coordinating a full cycle of training process, from Training Needs Analysis, budgeting, implementation & delivery to evaluation, in support of company goals, especially for Production Training.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and leadership skills and the ability to comprehend and communicate at multiple levels within and outside the organization.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of identifying skill gaps, building skill matrix, evaluating post-training performance, and driving continuous improvement
