Job Profile:
• Should be well versed in capturing requirements from Stakeholders and Business. Hands on experience on various tools for documenting technical, functional nonfunctional requirements.Excellent in creating Use Cases,BRD's and assisting in testing products
• Should have good knowledge in XML, XSD, XSLT, Java, J2EE technologies and have worked as Technical BA on these projects.
• Experience in Canonicals,mapping schema,transformation,ACORD Canonicals will be a big plus.
• Should be able to drive technical discussions and participate with developers
• Communicates and collaborates with technical and nontechnical staff and implements new procedures upon approval Performs other related duties as assigned.
• Engages in discussions with those who may not be willing to participate or contribute ideas; shows respect for differences and diversity; seeks opportunities to share information and offer ideas that will allow others to benefit or succeed; has facilitated a group discussion or decision that enabled the group with some guidance to reach a decision or achieve a result.
• Effectively communicates ideas opinions questions or concerns in one-on-one situations; accurately restates them even when he/she disagrees; understands and articulately answers questions when asked; seeks feedback on own verbal and nonverbal style and effectiveness; practices attentive and active listening skills.
• Should act as liaison between business and developers/testers
• Strong analytical interpretive and written/verbal communication skills. Knowledge of business operations and requirements and business modeling concepts (required)
• Excellent presentation oral written and interpersonal communications skills to effectively interact and negotiate with internal/external customers and all levels of management;
• Under general direction, maps current business processes to provide a foundation for defining business activities. Uses business process maps to develop procedures, models, and operational processes.
• Manages the process in developing the project charter to include conducting a preliminary assessment of business needs.
• Should be able to get requirements through JAD sessions and other methods.
• Applies appropriate analysis to business unit issues to provide the best resolution and satisfy internal and external customers.
• Participates in business process management group efforts to collect and analyze metrics and continually improve processes owned by the group; participates in root cause analysis to recommend quality/service enhancements or other appropriate actions to improve productivity for the business units;
• Uses knowledge of processes and their relevancy to project development to effectively address the customer’s needs and initiates timely action to meet them; discusses process flows and identifies process bottlenecks;
• Leads and participates in peer reviews; contributes to comprehensive development strategy that supports the corporate business strategy;
• Provides input from the perspective of cross-departmental functions Acts as a liaison between business units Project Management Office Software Quality Assurance and IT by opening and maintaining lines of communication to monitor and improve satisfaction; makes recommendations for quality/service enhancements;
• Well versed with MS Visio and prototyping tools
• Excellent Insurance Domain Knowledge
