Get to know the RoleThe Strategy team assists Country Head of Grab Financial Group in developing its long term objectives and setting its course. By assessing a broad range of trends and issues that span across markets, customer, competitor, regulatory and technology insights, the team develops winning strategies that will have a significant impact on Grab Financial Group's growth.
Day-to-Day Activities
- Lead and execute multiple projects, strategic initiatives, new business incubation to drive user base and business growth – while ensuring all align with overall company’s strategy
- Lead commercial negotiation & joint business planning with strategic partners & stakeholders
- Identify, drive and manage workstreams of project’s scope. Ensure execution and results are met
The Must Haves- Excellent business acumen, project management skills & understanding of financial technology business.
- Ability to construct and deliver clear presentations to senior executives
- Experience in analyzing and quantifying complex strategic issues tied to long term business growth
- Creativity and comfortable with ‘blank sheet of paper’ assignments
- Past experience in payment, financial services, banking, technology, or strategic consulting is an advantage, as well as an Advanced Degree from a top tier university.
