Suply Chain Intern

Sourcing Support:

· Research and identify potential local and international suppliers for food ingredients, non-food materials, and kitchen equipment.

· Collect and organize supplier information, including product specifications, lead times, pricing, and certifications.

· Support the evaluation and qualification process of new suppliers according to quality, food safety, and brand standards.

· Prepare sourcing reports, supplier comparison sheets, and procurement plans as needed.

· Ensure all sourcing activities are compliant with Shake Shack’s procurement policies and food safety standards.

Portfolio and Database Development:

· Build and maintain a detailed sourcing database for food, packaging, kitchen equipment, and store supplies.

· Create a structured portfolio of preferred vendors categorized by product type, price range, and quality rating.

· Ensure all sourcing information is documented systematically and accessible for cross-functional teams.

Material and Equipment Preparation:

· Assist in preparing the master list of required raw materials, ingredients, packaging, and kitchen equipment for Shake Shack store operations.

· Coordinate with the Culinary team for food tasting phases.
