Job requirement

  • Support entry data, manage student data, update status/personal information of students (enrolled, defer, terminated, IELTS certificate…) on SLCM system, SIS, HEMIS and other systems if needed. Handle student requests on SLCM system, email student affairs, asa.ticket.
  • Coordinate with program assistants, examination officers for management of student status. Receive and handle student requests, advice students, parent on study deferral, program transfer, ex-matriculation, drop out, study expulsion and issue relevant decisions. Understand examination regulations of VGU and partners to consult for students effectively.
  • Plan and carry out enrolment procedure.
  • Stay current with relevant laws, regulations of the Ministry of Education and Training according to the related work area.
  • Respond to incoming calls/emails from students and parents to handle their requests, answer questions and inquiries, provide information and consultation related to the student services.
  • Carry out and implement merit scholarship policy, regulations and processes. Provide report, statistics related to the merit scholarship. Consult the staff, students, parents on the issues related to the merit scholarship. Develop and improve the processes and regulations, policies related to the merit scholarships.
  • Support events of ASA such as Entrance Exam, Opening & Graduation Ceremony, Orientation week.
  • Other tasks as assigned by supervisors and Presidential Board.

Job requirement

1. Qualification: Bachelor's in educational management or related fields

2. Knowledge: Deep knowledge in Student affairs, education, psychology, statistics

3. Skills:

  • Fluent in both oral and written English, fluently use English in discussions/meetings and prepare English report
  • Excellent in MS-Office softwares (Word, Excel, PPT,…)
  • Good communication, teamwork, problem solving
  • Strong customer service skills, creative, initiative, can-do attitude

4. Experience: Minimum 2 years of working in student affairs or in higher education

5. Behaviour required:

  • High responsible and professional
  • Open, willing to collaborate and learn new things
