Strategy & Strategic Projects Senior Manager / Manager

Get to know our Team:

• The Singapore Strategy & Strategic Projects team support the formulation and delivery of country-wide strategy to drive growth for Grab in Singapore
• Our Projects span all business lines in Singapore (e.g. GrabPay, GrabFood, GrabCar etc.)

Get to know the Role:

• Lead or independently deliver strategic studies for senior executives in the organization
• Lead or deliver day-to-day execution of high impact initiatives
• Minimal travel required (<5%)

The day-to-day activities:

• Be a sounding board for the strategic initiatives and decisions of senior management staff
• Support business teams at various stages; for example, providing a fact base, structuring and helping with issue identification and solutioning, advising on the practicalities of implementation or leading actual execution
• Mentor and guide junior members of the team

The must haves:

• Strong academic track record
• Strong background in strategic thinking & demonstrated ability to problem solve
• Experience with hands-on engagement, strong interpersonal / influencing skills
• Highly adaptable across situations / topics / industries
• Executive presence and strong ability to influence
• Experience in effectively leading and/or facilitating discussions with senior leaders
• Strong communication skills
• Experience in managing and guiding a project team

The good to haves:

• At least 3-6 years of experience intop-tier strategy or management consultancy firm (Principals/ Managers will be considered for Senior Manager, while Snr Associates/ Associates/ Business Analyst will be considered for Manager)
• Experience in engaging across Asian markets and cultures
• Prior experience in entrepreneurship
