Strategic Initiatives Lead

Get to know the role:
Support the Strategy & Planning Manager in formulating strategy and key initiatives for GrabExpress to grow in Vietnam. You will work closely with all functional teams to improve
operational standards, track and analyze current market trends and provide recommendations to improve key metrics of the organization.

The day-to-day activities:
 Design market intelligence metrics, performance measurement and reconciliation dashboards for GrabExpress
 Develop frameworks to analyze business problems, develop hypotheses, mine data, deliver recommendations, and assess impact of proposed solutions
 Perform analysis & research plans to support decision making process
 Manage new feature rollouts and special projects with focus on optimizing existing operational procedures
 Work closely with all business stakeholders within GrabExpress, transport and other cross-functions to set and implement strategy
 Manage end-to-end strategic projects; identifying issues, gathering information from various sources, analyzing data, interpreting patterns and trends with the purpose of generating insights and solutions for the organization
 Conduct industry analysis and research, with respect to competitive market trends, to drive business insights
 Support to design and refine pricing and incentives schemes

Key requirements:
 Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field. MBA is a major advantage
 Fluent in written and spoken English
 Required knowledge of SQL and other data analysis tools
 At least 3 years of experience working in Management Consulting / Business Intelligence / Market Research / investment banking
 Experience in business analysis and/or corporate planning
 Ability to use various metrics to analyze complex cases
 Experience in data extraction and manipulation
 Ability to use data visualization to create meaningful insights
 High level of adaptability in working in a high pressure working environment
 Dependable and reliable with timely follow-up
 Results and detail-oriented, with strong intuitions on how to solve problems creatively and quickly
