Purpose:
The QC technician will conduct in-process quality control audits on our golf head production lines and lead/coordinate improvement activity against nonconformities found during audits to ensure TMaG quality control plans are followed, as defined.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for day-to-day in-process QC audits per TMaG master auditing list ranging from incoming inspections at vendors, on-line QC workstations, final inspections, gauge/tool maintenance and calibrations as well as regular testing operations etc.
- Lead/coordinate vendor QC meetings on improvement activities against on-line nonconformities. Check and follow through improvement actions.
- Report/communicate immediately major QC issues found on-site during auditing for immediate actions with involving superior and concerned persons from supplier.
- Document daily findings and create/update auditing report on a weekly basis, distribute to concerned persons in the TMaG engineering team.
- Assist tests that conducted by TMaG engineers if needed, collect and send the data that required.
- Lead TMaG QC persons on-site to fully implement TMaG China QC procedure, overlook daily operations of outgoing checks, in-process audits and quality reporting etc. Also responsible for new product training and inspection qualification.
- Make sure TMaG quality requirements are met and TMaG quality control plans are in place and are being correctly followed.
- Performs other related duties and assignments as required
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
- University or college diploma in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering
- 2+ year experience working in a manufacturing/QC environment
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and basic computing skills
- Good command of written English, good oral skill is preferable.
- Responsible, independent, active and result-oriented.

Purpose
The Staff Engineer Process Engineering will be responsible for manufacturing/industrialization activities for golf head components. The engineer’s primary role will be to work with our Vietnam Manufacturing Operations to execute the manufacturing of new products to a high level of success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between engineering teams in US, China and our Chinese vendors
- Perform design feasibility evaluations to ensure seamless transition of golf components into high volume manufacturing
- Coordination of all tooling/samples/FAI through manufacturing and testing
- Develop/approve manufacturing instructions using manufacturing engineering practices
- Execute daily production line auditing including yield analysis and continuous improvement activities
- Perform product, process and fixture qualifications
- Perform statistical analysis for cost reduction, quality improvement and improved efficiency
- Recommend and implement improvements to production processes, methods and controls.
- Perform outgoing product inspection verification and inspector training both for internal and external teams
- Provide production support for component and component assembly
- Performs other related duties and assignments as required
Knowledge and Skills Requirements:
- B.S. in Mechanical, Manufacturing or Industrial Engineering
- 4+ years of experience working in a manufacturing/engineering environment
- Completion of Lean Manufacturing training + minimum 2 years working directly on processes using Lean principles
- Experience working on individual and team projects with successful results
- Mus be familiar with a variety of manufacturing processes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to enable coordination of projects within departments and outside consultants.
- Has demonstrated ability of initiative; able to work effectively in a team
