The day-to-day activities:
a. Ship reliable software through continuous integration, test automation, and in depth code reviews.;
b. Envision new products and features that are inspired, considered, and magical.;
c. Find simple, elegant solutions to problems.
d. Work cross-functionally with our product teams, many other engineering teams.
e. Participate in brainstorming sessions and have the chance to contribute innovative and original ideas to our technology, algorithms and product.
f. Share skills and knowledge with others while building productive internal/external working relationships.
The must haves:
a. BA/BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience with 4 years experience
b. Programming experience in Javascript (react, angular, nextJS), PHP and experience using framework such as Express.js or PHP such as Laravel;
c. Experience in data modelling in SQL or NoSQL Database
d. Awareness of cross-browser compatibility issues and client-side performance considerations
e. Familiarity with information security vulnerabilities in Web App ( e.g. SQL Injection etc )
f. Have a deep knowledge in software engineering ( Ex : Design Pattern, Object Oriented Design Principles )
g. Familiar with Version Control System ( Ex : Git, Mercurial )
h. Willing to learn, share and teach
i. Strong User Interface design sense and implementation
k. Excellent understanding of:
- SCRUM
- SDLC
- Code versioning: Branching strategy, merging, revert and tagging
l. Proficiency in 1 programming languages
m. Strong fundamental on testable code, design pattern and engineering best practice best practices.
