Software Engineer - Front End (JavaScript)

Get to know the Role:
Grab’s primary products are our driver and passenger applications, which are developed by our mobile engineers and tested by our QA team before launch. We feel everyone should have access to transportation, so your high-quality delivery is vital to Grab and our community.



The day-to-day activities:

Design and implement single page applications (ReactJS, Redux, Webpack, GulpJS)

Write unit, functional and end-to-end tests

Write high-quality JavaScript and native code that communicates with upstream backend services via HTTP APIs


The must haves:

In-depth understanding of at least one major JavaScript framework: React, Ember, Angular

Detailed knowledge of the HTTP protocol

At least three years experience shipping web applications to production

Detailed knowledge of the HTTP protocol

React.JS experience

ES6/ES2015 or ES7/ES2016 experience
