Software Architect

Job Description :

a. Act as a front line of defense for common technology issues in KUDO
b. Builds a critical mass of support for a given technology through research
c. Providing technical guidance and coaching to internal developers
d. Facilitate the district’s vision for technology
e. Implement the newest technologies
f. Encourage new engineering practices within internal KUDO
g. Promotes the use of a particular product or technology through talks, articles, blogging, user demonstrations, recorded demonstrations, or the creation of sample projects
h. Work closely with CTO & VP of Engineering
i. Collaborate with Human Capital and Marketing team to promote Kudo's branding

Technical Requirements :

a. Experience in managing end-to-end, and more importantly scale-up at least one e-commerce: frontend, backend & infrastructure, mobile app(s)
b. Good Knowledge of best practices for website performance, code quality, and scalability, programming standards, and patterns, along with proficiency in Agile development methodology
c. Proven experience in driving and executing product roadmaps, and willing to take innovative product risk while balancing the roadmap for on-time deliverables

d. Expert level in one of the following languages: Go-Lang or Java or other backend related languages

e. Experience in working with cloud technologies

f. Strong knowledge on development best practice

Soft Skill Requirements:

a. Nice to have technical leadership experience

b. Excellent communication skills with an ability to work well cross-functionally across multiple departments
