Snr Operations Executive

1. Event Planning & Execution

· Participate in developing seasonal and non-seasonal operations plans for VBA-related events, including but not limited to: VBA Pre-season, Regular Season, Playoffs, Fan Engagement events, VBA 3x3 tournaments, Season Press Conferences, VBA Awards, and other strategic brand activations.

· Lead and support venue setup, execution, and teardown for game days and league-organized events.

· Ensure operational readiness at assigned venues: signage, logistics, equipment, crew coordination.

· Collaborate with the Operations Manager and cross-functional departments to identify potential risks and propose contingency measures to maintain safety and quality standards.

2. Game Day Supervision

· Act as the main operations contact point for assigned VBA Club(s) during home games.

· Coordinate with club staff, league departments, vendors, and venue partners to ensure seamless match-day operations.

· Monitor venue flow and resolve on-site issues; escalate to Event Manager or senior management when necessary.

· Ensure all club activities on game day align with VBA policies and game regulations.

3. Stakeholder & Vendor Coordination

· Liaise with internal teams (Marketing, Media, Ticketing, Legal, etc.) to ensure alignment on event execution.

· Manage relationships and execution with external vendors, contractors, and event service providers.

· Oversee the implementation of sponsor activations to ensure commitments are delivered as agreed.

· Maintain clear communication and feedback loops with stakeholders before, during, and after each event.

4. Budgeting, Reporting & Process Improvement

· Assist in tracking event-related expenses and help maintain budget discipline.

· Prepare post-event reports including KPIs, lessons learned, and actionable recommendations.

· Proactively contribute ideas for improving operational workflows and event efficiency.

5. Compliance, Safety & Emergency Preparedness

· Ensure all events strictly comply with VBA safety protocols and local venue regulations.

· Assist in developing and executing emergency response plans as part of the league’s standard operating procedures.

· Support legal and compliance teams with documentation and regulatory reviews when applicable.

6. Other Duties

· Undertake other assignments from the Operation Manager and senior management as required to support VBA’s business goals and strategic direction.

· Represent VBA with professionalism, integrity, and commitment to operational excellence in all duties performed.

• Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Sports Management, Hospitality, or related fields.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience in event operations; sports or live entertainment experience is a strong advantage.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multitasking skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to work with diverse stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure, in dynamic environments, and adapt quickly to real-time changes.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; familiarity with event management software or tools is a plus.
• Good command of English; intermediate level preferred.
• Must be willing to travel domestically to Vietnam when needed
• Ability to organize work independently as well as a team player, ability to observe and handle problems quickly and effectively.
