Get to know the role:
As SME Sales Manager, you will be responsible for establishing and managing strong business relationships with existing and potential small to medium-sized restaurant/merchant partners nationally to drive growth for GrabFood Philippines. You will lead a team of executives with primary key performance indicators focusing on the absolute number of merchant partners closed, the speed and efficiency of the sales process, and the ability to structure deals and negotiations beneficial for the GrabFood business and its merchant partners.
The day-to-day activities:
Working with the GrabFood Head of Sales / Head of GrabFood on building and executing a strong SME partners sales strategy.
Monitoring end to end deal making/deal closing with any number of small to medium-sized merchant/restaurant partners, including prospecting new merchant partners and increasing the success of existing merchants, aligned with the OKRs of the partners and of GrabFood.
Be involved in contract negotiations to establish strong working partnerships and deal terms grounded on sustainable economics for both parties
Evaluate strategic partnership opportunities, performing a broad range of quantitative and qualitative analyses
Work across functions to tailor merchant specific needs (e.g. customized reporting, support, integration)
The must haves:
Bachelor (or above) degree in Business/ Management or equivalent
Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, business development, partnerships or equivalent role, with team management experience
Experience in F&B industry is a plus
Excellent communication skills in both written and spoken English
Ability to identify and provide comprehensive solutions for varying customer needs
Ability to fuse business, strategy, finance and legal concepts to execute complex, multi-faceted deals
Demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal and external organisations
Excellent organizational and communication skills
