Get to know the Role:

As SME Sales and Account Management Lead, you will be responsible for establishing and managing strong business relationships with existing and potential small to medium-sized restaurant/merchant partners to drive growth for GrabFood Philippines
 
Your primary key performance indicators focusing on the absolute number of merchant partners closed, ensure the continued success on the platform, through consistent and best-in-class support and profitability initiatives. You will build reporting processes and conduct analyses that will provide merchant partners with insights to improve success metrics, and assist with suggested initiatives to be carried out as a result.


The day-to-day activities:


- Working with the GrabFood Sales Manager / Account Manager on building and executing a strong SME partners sales strategy.
- Monitoring end to end deal making/deal closing with any number of small to medium-sized merchant/restaurant partners, including prospecting new merchant partners and increasing the success of existing merchants, aligned with the OKRs of the partners and of GrabFood.
- Be involved in contract negotiations to establish strong working partnerships and deal terms grounded on sustainable economics for both parties
-You will ensure that merchant partners are growing with the company. You will take a data driven approach to estimate ROI and KPI analysis for each partner in order to grow basket size, increase volumes, and create loyal customers.
-Marketing and Promotions: Taking insights drawn from analyses, you will propose, create, and execute promotions and campaigns that will drive growth and profitability metrics.
-You will work with our product, operations, and merchant acquisition teams to make sure merchants have the best possible experience on the GrabFood platform.
-Initiate, grow and manage fleet relationships as an enabler for growth of driver supply
-Plan and lead team in executing fleet sales activities, ensuring maximum utilisation of rented vehicles & recruitment of high performing drivers

The must haves:


-Bachelor (or above) degree in Business/ Management or equivalent.
-Minimum 2 years of experience in sales, business development, partnerships or equivalent role, with team management experience
-Experience in F&B industry is a plus
-Proficiency in English and Mandarin, both written and spoken, is essential
-Ability to identify and provide comprehensive solutions for varying customer needs
-Ability to fuse business, strategy, finance and legal concepts to execute complex, multi-faceted deals
-Demonstrated ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations
-Excellent organizational and communication skills
-Passion for the on-demand delivery space, and food delivery in particular
