Job requirement
Land Acquisition:
Identify and evaluate potential land acquisition opportunities that align with the company's strategic goals.
Conduct market research and feasibility studies to assess the viability of potential projects.
Negotiate purchase agreements and manage the due diligence process, including environmental assessments, title searches, and zoning reviews.
Build and maintain relationships with landowners, brokers, and other industry professionals.
Entitlement and Permitting:
Develop and implement strategies to obtain necessary entitlements and permits for land development projects.
Manage the preparation and submission of applications for zoning changes, site plan approvals, and other required permits.
Represent the company at public hearings and meetings with government agencies.
Stay up-to-date on changes to local, state, and federal regulations affecting land development.
Site Development:
Oversee the initial stages of site development, including surveying, grading, and infrastructure installation.
Manage relationships with engineers, architects, and other consultants.
Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
Monitor construction progress and address any issues that arise.
Team Leadership:
Build and manage a high-performing team of land development professionals.
Provide guidance and support to team members.
Set performance goals and conduct regular performance reviews.
Foster a collaborative and positive work environment.
Financial Management:
Develop and manage budgets for land acquisition and development projects.
Track expenses and ensure that projects are financially viable.
Prepare reports on project status and financial performance.
