Site Expansion Associate

Get to know our Team:

You will be working as part of Kitchen by GrabFood team to expand our cloud kitchen business. The cloud kitchen is an exciting new venture that we believe will disrupt the food delivery space. In this role as a site expansion associate, you will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, to find and lease out the most ideal location in terms of location, price, and build infrastructure.

Get to know the Role:

You will be on the Kitchen by GrabFood and will be responsible for overall expansion and site acquisition of new locations.

The day-to-day activities:

• Highly motivated and strong execution drive to be on the ground and exhaustively gather the widest range of options possible
• Ability to make effective recommendations for the management in deciding the most ideal site
• Good negotiation skills to drive the best leasing deal possible
• to identify an extensive list of potential sites that could be leased out and are within the predefined specifications (location, size, zonation)
• to work with real estate agents in gathering more location options
• to analyze if a site has all the requirements based on a set of checklist and be able to compare the various options
• to recommend to the management on which option is most ideal
• to negotiate the best deal possible with the real estate agents/ property owners
• to document the processes required and suggest how the processes can be optimized so that work can be executed more efficiently

• to work with internal and external stakeholders in identifying potential sites effectively

• to ensure any recommended site options are within the predefined budget

The must haves:

• 3-5 years of experience in site expansion for a national-level brand (retail like minimart or F&B brands)
• Attention to detail
• Property evaluation
• Negotiation skills
• Contacts/ being plugged in to the real estate agents community is a plus
