1. Job Purpose
The Training Specialist is responsible for planning, organizing and managing the entire training and development activities across the Group. The role ensures employees are equipped with the necessary knowledge, skills, and competencies to meet business objectives and support the Group’s long-term human resource development strategy.
2. Key Responsibilities
Identify Training & Development Needs
· Collect and consolidate training needs from departments and business units.
· Analyze training requirements based on the Group’s strategic direction and annual business plans.
· Develop accurate and practical Training Needs Assessment (TNA) reports.
Propose Training Programs & Nominate Participants
· Recommend appropriate functional, soft-skill, and leadership training programs.
· Select reputable internal and external trainers for relevant courses.
· Consolidate and propose the list of employees attending internal and external training programs.
Evaluate & Select External Training Providers
· Identify, evaluate, and select credible training centers, institutions, and trainers.
· Ensure the quality, relevance, and cost-effectiveness of external training programs.
Develop Training Materials & Processes
· Participate in building and updating training policies, procedures, and forms.
· Develop and standardize training curriculum, including onboarding programs.
· Prepare training materials and guidelines.
· Develop post-training evaluation criteria and assessment tools.
· Maintain and archive training documents, records, and employee training outcomes.
Organize & Monitor Training Activities
· Organize regular and ad-hoc training sessions (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annually).
· Conduct onboarding training for new employees.
· Support internal trainers and training collaborators in course design and execution.
· Monitor training quality and conduct post-training evaluations.
· Maintain employee development records and update training profiles.
· Communicate training activities via internal channels: announcements, articles, summaries on Facebook/website.
Advise on Training & Talent Development Strategy
· Propose long-term learning and development (L&D) strategies.
· Advise on training roadmaps, competency development frameworks, and improvement initiatives.
· Ensure training proposals are feasible and aligned with corporate goals.
Education & Experience
· Age: 27–40
· Bachelor’s degree or higher in Education, Business Administration, Human Resource Management, or related fields.
· Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position.
Knowledge & Skills
· English proficiency (listening, speaking, reading, writing).
· Strong computer skills (MS Office and relevant HR/Training tools).
