Senior Strategy & Planning Associate, GrabFood VN

Get to know the role:

Support the Head of Strategy & Planning in formulating strategy and key initiatives for GrabFood to grow in Vietnam. You will dive deep to understand the merchant, driver partners and consumer sides of the business and provide recommendations to improve key metrics of the organization

The day-to-day activities:

• Design market intelligence metrics and performance measurement dashboards for GrabFood

• Develop frameworks to analyze business problems, develop hypotheses, mine data, deliver recommendations, and assess impact of proposed solutions

• Perform analysis & research plans to support decision making process

• Able to partner closely with all business stakeholders within GrabFood, transport and other cross-functions to set and implement strategy

• Manage end-to-end data projects; identifying issues, gathering information from various sources, analysing data, interpreting patterns, and trends with the purpose of generating insights about the market

• Conduct industry analysis and research with respect to competitive market trends to drive business insights

• Support to design and refine pricing and incentives schemes.

Key requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field.

• Fluent in written and spoken English

• At least 2 years of experience working in Management Consulting / Business Intelligence / Market Research / investment banking

• Experience in business analysis and corporate planning

• Ability to use various metrics to analyse complex cases

• Experience in data extraction and manipulation

• Ability to use data visualisation to create meaningful insights

• High level of adaptability in working in a high pressure working environment

• Dependable and reliable with timely follow-up

• Results and detail-oriented, with strong intuitions on how to solve problems creatively and quickly
