Through the GrabPay platform, we seek to help unbanked mobile first users and merchants to build opportunities for themselves, while delivering trusted & safe payment systems to Southeast Asia.
Responsibilities
Drive key planning and organisational milestones:
Develop deep understanding of what drives growth and efficiency for our business
Partner with the leadership team to communicate our objectives for budget approvals
Help drive regular meetings – e.g. Executive Committee and Board meetings
Partner with executives in creating strategic initiatives and securing budgets for plans and projects on a wide range of strategic issues, including risk management and implementation tactics
Influence and coach executives by presenting compelling analyses and recommendations that build the business case for key initiatives
Develop and set individual and team goals. Be a strong team player.
Be a Change Agent – working on breaking down complexities, interdependencies and getting the team aligned on plan, execution and timelines to key strategic initiatives. Manage stakeholder communication and change throughout the journey (Region, Country, Business Unit, Routes to Market)
Provide the investor mindset: Create the business / investment cases for new initiatives and help leadership prioritise resourcing. Consider the range of outcomes that an initiative may have on the company and how to push for upside
Develop short-term and long-term performance goals for the business
Requirements
Have 4 to 7 years of post-advanced degree experience leading projects, deals, and the company's financial improvement initiatives in management consulting or corporate strategy
Possess an advanced University degree (e.g., MBA) or demonstrable equivalent
Have proven experience of leading and managing a team
Have superior analytical thinking, analysis, and problem solving skills
Are able to communicate abstract ideas clearly and independently
Have superior business acumen, technical knowledge within multiple business units, and extensive knowledge in applications and technologies
Possess advanced verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation, presentation, and influence
Have superior project management skills, including time and risk management, and project structuring
Have advanced relationship management skills, including partnering and consulting
Have advanced leadership skills, including coaching, team-building, conflict resolution, and management in a global, cross-functional, and virtual environment
Are able to independently draft and present deliverables, recommendations, and communications strategies
Can manage human capital to drive workforce development and achieve desired result
Strong analytical abilities and able to synthesise complex information
You enjoy absorbing large amounts of data and qualitative insights and can quickly develop a strong narrative that leads to recommendations and builds our understanding of the business
