The day-to-day activities:
As part of the team attending to daily walk-in enquiries and requests at the Grab Driver’s Centre -
- Provide a high level of service to everyone who walks into the centre
- Supervise a team of contingency workers to ensure smooth running of the centre
- Work with various stakeholders’ departments to manage enquiries, requests and escalations
- Conduct checks and verification of driver’s information
- Assist drivers with Grab Driver’s App familiarisation, resolve issues and enquiries pertaining to the App
- Advising and selling of insurance policies over the counter
- Continuous improvement of operational processes
- Handle administrative tasks (e.g. daily reports preparation, data entry and filing) and other ad hoc duties assigned by the Team Lead
- May be deployed at any of Grab's branches island wide
The must haves:
- Certificate in General Insurance (BCP, PGI, ComGI) preferred
- Diploma/Degree or equivalent
- At least 3-years of frontline customer service experience
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; being well-versed with Excel formula and functions (e.g. data lookup function, IF conditional function and pivot table) will be an advantage
- Strong people skills with a customer-oriented service attitude
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Detail oriented and meticulous
- Ability to work independently or as a team, with minimal supervision
- Candidates with a second language/dialect would be preferred
