Get to know the Role:

  • Part of the Platform Safety and Quality team under Regional Operations

  • This role is strategy and systems-focused, requiring you to work with regional stakeholders, country training and partner engagement teams, to drive partner training development, adoption and engagement

  • Responsible for an online learning management platform designed for partners

  • Collaborate with Product Manager to identify enhancements to improve learner experience

  • Work with country operations to craft content strategy and campaign planning 

  • Provide instructional design for key training programmes that will help to raise quality and safety standards of partners

The day-to-day activities:

  • Conduct training needs analysis through field research and data analytics 

  • Drive training initiatives to enhance partners’ skills and knowledge for service excellence

  • Partner local training teams to produce relevant and engaging learning content for different partner segments of Grab

  • As the business owner of the learning management system, provide regional system administration and support to help country teams leverage on the learning features

  • Work closely with Product Management team to enhance the user learning experience via focus group interviews and field observation studies

  • Conduct Train-The-Trainer sessions to ensure country training teams are continuously updated on new learning features

  • Ideate and share ideas with countries to drive training adoption and engagement via the use of social media 

  • Facilitate best practice sharing across partner training teams in regional operations

  • Provide insights from training data analytics, maintain a regional training dashboard

The must haves:

  • Minimally Bachelor's degree (Business, Marketing, Mass Communications, Human Resource Development, or any other relevant areas)

  • 3+ years in leading or managing a learning and development function

  • Prior experience in developing and/or managing some form of digital content preferred

  • Demonstrated ability to provide thought leadership in instructional design

  • Previous systems implementation or product management experience would be a big plus

  • Excellent problem solving/decision making, communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong time management and organisational skills, detail-oriented

  • Willing to take initiative to tackle challenges, work cross-functionally, independently in a fast-paced environment

  • Self-motivated to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and to meet deadlines
