Financial services are a new business line for Grab, focused on enabling Southeast Asia’s millions of micro-entrepreneurs to grow their businesses through access to financial products via the Grab platform, whether that be lending, insurance or more.
Grab already provides income opportunities to more than 5 million drivers, agents, and merchants across the region.
Get to know the Role:
We are hiring for a senior marketer to lead regional marketing for this new financial services business line. You’ll be responsible for figuring out the best ways to engage Grab’s millions of micro-entrepreneurs and find relevant financial products from our partners that will improve their lives. You’ll build out a new way of marketing financial products to an unbanked or underbanked audience, opening up financial inclusion in the region.
The day-to-day activities:
Functional
- Manage all marketing communications for product pilots, delivering marketing analysis to inform new product development.
- Develop educational programs for Grab’s new range of financial services to merchants across Southeast Asia.andmillions of underbanked drivers, agents
- Drive lead generation, nurture and retention programs, combining performance marketing, CRM, referral and offline events as part of an integrated effort.
- Work with driver, merchant and agent network teams to integrate communications into the overall experience the end consumer has with the Grab platform.
Customer
- Work with product marketing and research teams to drive deep insights into the financial lives and challenges of Southeast Asia’s underbanked drivers, agents, and merchants.
- Develop a customer-centric strategy for each country in the region, working with country marketing heads and their teams to execute said strategy in a hyper-local fashion.
Financial
- Set targets and allocate budgets for each and every country across the region, with overall accountability for growth, marketing efficiency, and ROI.
People
- Build a team of financial services marketers across the region.
The must haves:
- Bachelor’s degree from a top-tier international university
- Excellent proficiency in MS Excel and Powerpoint
- Entrepreneurial self-starter who can create their own structure and
drive forward a clear growth agenda - Integrated marketer with deep familiarity in CRM and growth
marketing 7-10 years’ experience in a results-driven marketing role, preferably in
B2B growth, lending, insurance or fintech.
