Senior Finance Controller

1. Accounting:

• Check and control the accuracy of accounting book under VAS and IAS;
• Check and control the completeness, relevance, reliability and legal of accounting supporting documents;
• Review the separate financial statements under VAS, IFRS;
• Design the Group Reporting Package and prepare the consolidated financial statement under IFRS for the whole Group;
• Co-ordinate with Legal team to review the contracts regarding financial terms;

2. Internal Controller:

• Support Chief Accountant and CFO to design the internal audit procedures to control the accounting and finance work in Vietnam and other countries;
• Perform internal audit work for finance and accounting system;

3. Budget and Controlling:

• Prepare, develop and maintain annual budgets, monthly re-forecasts and business KPIs and associated reporting requirements. Control the Purchase Request, Payment Request and actual cost following approved budget;

4. Finance:

• Responsible to prepare monthly management reports, consolidate and analyze the monthly financial results of the Company and identify the root reasons for the variances between actual and budget/ forecast and last year;
• Understand the basis and deeply analyze the revenue and cost drivers and processes behind the numbers and work various parties to ensure corrective measures taken to reflect the accurate numbers and assist the business to work towards to the budgeted revenue and cost;
• Identify areas of improvement within the Financial and Information Management systems that can provide better, more pertinent data to support the business decision making process;
• Gather data from departments, update periodic reports, analyze data, financial modeling, identify risks and opportunities to highlight to management and Board of directors;
• Prepare monthly business updates for management presentation to Board of directors;
• Other work from Chief accountant and CFO.

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Auditing, Finance or equivalent; advanced Degrees in Accounting or ACCA/ CPA certificates are preferred;
• 4 to 6 years of relevant work experience in a large organization (100+ employees), with at least 2 years in a Financial Analyst position; experience in an auditing firm or in consolidating financial reports for a multinational company is an advantage;
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and VAS; knowledge of accounting principles and procedures in another Asia-Pacific country is a plus;
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel & PowerPoint; Familiarity with at least one accounting software;
• Good command of English (IELTS 5.5, TOEIC 650, or TOEFL iBT 65);
• Good technical skills in financial modeling and financial analysis;
• Self-directed, hands-on, motivated with high degree of commitment to meeting deadlines, targets and objectives;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
• Proactive, meticulous, independent and resourceful;
• Independent, motivated and able to operate effectively under stress;
• Effective communication, problem solving and analytical skills.
