• Monthly COGS accounting. • Inventory raw material, wip, finished goods accounting • Materials, labor, overhead variance accounting • Set standard cost for materials and finished products • Sales price costing • Weekly measurements and analysis • Monthly profit improvement plan analysis • Monthly operating expenses analysis • Budgeting and Forecasting • Cycle count and physical inventory • Check on warehouse use of Mapics IM • Maintain raw material standard cost and current standard in Mapics • Maintain labor rates and overhead rates in Mapics • Query data from Mapics for special analysis • Duty exempt materials tracking • Scrap rate, yield and factory spoilage analysis • Product margin analysis • Sales price and product mix analysis • Competitor cost analysis
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance and Accounting. • More than 3 years experience in a sizeable manufacturing operations as cost accountant • Fluent in English • Vietnam CPA certification preferred • Computerized accounting software, plus knowledge of ERP • Standard cost accounting, strong costing knowledge • Budgetary control and common key performance measurements • Vietnam and international accounting standards and practices, China taxation • Principles of internal controls and financial policies and procedures • Honesty, integrity, reliable and dependable, hard working, perseverance, detailed and thorough • Numerate, analytical, logical and follow-through skills • Good communication skills • Skilled in prioritizing, multi-tasking • Skilled in problem solving • Skilled in Excel and common office software applications
