Senior Construction Engineer

JGC Vietnam is looking for Senior Construction Engineer for permanent position at company. The job holder will have chances to:

1. Carry out Construction Planning and Construction Cost Estimation Work at head office

• Execution formation together with Construction Manager/Project Manager
• PCWBS/ FWBS together with Schedule Controller
• Construction sequence of underground facilities and pavement
• Temporary facilities
• Manpower mobilization plan
• Construction equipment mobilization plan
• Progress plan
• Detail construction schedule per PCWBS
• Constructabilities study and plan, coordinate with Project Engineers and other related Departments
• Scaffolding plan
• Reflect the constructabilities plan in the inquiry for subcontracting
• Preparation of documents such as specifications, procedures, manuals and etc.
• Erection plan of extra heavy equipment
• Safety work control plan including rules and promotion plan together with safety engineer
• Plan of vender specialists
• Preparation of inquiry document and subcontracting document together with subcontract engineer.

2. Prepare instruction material together with direct supervisor and conduct orientation to junior staffs.

3. Prepare JVC Standard document and summarize construction historical data as required.

4. Supervise construction work at site as construction supervisor as requested by Senior Mgr of Construction Dept.

* Report to

In principle, reporting to Department Manager, Project Manager in Head Office.
In case of assignment to project site, reporting to Project Manager, Site Manager and Construction Manager
