We deliver your groceries during your preferred delivery time-slot and your order will be safely delivered to your doorstep by a Grab or HappyFresh driver.

Get to know the Role:

• As a Venture Development Senior Category Manager, you will be part of a regional team to identify and launch new ventures from zero to one, within Grab and/ or scale up an existing venture from one to ten

• This role is specifically for GrabFresh, we are looking for someone to play a pivotal role in scaling this new venture up rapidly

The day-to-day activities:

• Develop a grocery category strategy

• Identify the best way to build the category at rocket speed

• Source partners and vendors, negotiate buying terms

• Monitor category performance and update layouts, pricing, stocking as needed

• Monitor customer behavior and trends

• Set up new operations/ business processes

• Hire new team members as necessary

• Work with other internal Grab functions to source resources & support

• Most ventures will require significant travel within ASEAN

The must haves:

• 5-7 years expertise in grocery retail (online or offline) is a must, preferably in merchandising/ buying roles

• Working experience in a startup or early stage tech company is a plus

• Previous experience managing teams is a plus

• Ability to speak Chinese and/ or Bahasa Indonesia is a plus

• Must be a self-starter with an entrepreneurial drive and desire to achieve goals at speed

• Keen eye for product quality

• Strong personal interest in technology

• Highly driven, flexible and independent

• High level of perseverance and grit
