Get to know the Role
As Business Development Associate, you will be responsible for establishing and managing strong business relationships with existing and potential key partners for MSME merchant acquisition to drive the growth of GRab's MSME financing business.
You will be building valuable and long-lasting partnerships with POS players, procurement platforms etc. You will be be exposed to business elements such as lead generation, creative and data-based negotiations, account management, and other strategic sales-based initiatives.
Responsibilities
Plan out priority partners to pursue, in line with overall GrabFinance strategy
Strategise on partnership model and content, with help of internal data
Engage prioritised partners for discussion, structuring and negotiation
Work closely with internal product team and marketing operations team to execute deals
Assist team members periodically with introductions or brain storms
The must have
Bachelor’s Degree or higher in any field (preferably in business, management or marketing) experience in structuring collaboration terms, securing deals and collaboration campaign
F&B industry background is an advantage
Good communication skills in both written and spoken English
Microsoft Office skills are required (MS. Excel, MS. Word and MS. Powerpoint)
A highly independent individual with excellent team-working skills
Ability to build good relationships with partners and match partners’ needs and organization
Ability to fuse business, strategy, finance and legal concepts to lead complex, multi-faceted deals
Energetic, enthusiastic and calm even in a dynamic and fast paced environment
Excellent time management and communication skills with excellent leadership skills
