Senior Associate, Finance Projects (Lending)

Grab's lending business (GFSA – Grab Financial Services Asia) is a recent addition to Grab’s array of product and service offerings focused on extension of Micro credit to drivers, agents and merchants in Grab’s ecosystem. GFSA team is responsible for end to end conceptualisation, design, development, execution and ongoing management of all lending activities in its focus markets and segments.

Grab Financial Services is looking for a dynamic individual to fill the position of Finance Projects Associate/Senior Associate to support the Financial Services organization, one of the most exciting and fastest growing organizations within Grab. This full-time position reports to the Finance Project Manager in our Singapore office.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate cross-functionally with accounting, legal, tax, FP&A, treasury and compliance for GFSA-related finance matters

• Streamline and manage FinOps processes and ensure timely payments for invoice processing

• Ensure timely and accurate reporting on internal and external financial reporting requirements, including but not limited to review of monthly management accounts and year-end financial statements

• Partner with key stakeholders to ensure finance-readiness for lending product initiatives across the region

• Identify areas for process improvement for accuracy, timeliness, effectiveness relating to controllership within Grab Financial Services

• Review and provide feedback on agreements to ensure we are mitigating risk for Grab and confirm operational support

Qualifications - Education requirement

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business/ Commerce discipline or equivalent practical experience

Experience requirement

• Minimum 5 years of accounting/audit/finance ops experience

• Ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment and to lead and drive operational initiatives

• Problem solver with strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Collaborative working style and ability to work with business owner/ business partner

• Self-motivated, capable of driving change and loves challenges

• Able to work under tight timelines, independently and multitask
