Grab’s lending business (GFSA – Grab Financial Services Asia) is a recent addition to Grab’s array of product and service offerings focused on extension of Micro credits to drivers, agents and merchants in Grab’s ecosystem. GFSA team is a combination of strong talent pool in its Regional Hub (Singapore) and deep local market operators across its focus markets. We are incredibly excited about the opportunity ahead of us. We are looking to put together the best possible combination of business build drive, industry expertise and local market depth as part of our team. GFSA team is responsible for end to end conceptualization, design, development, execution and ongoing management of all lending activities in its focus markets and segments.
Get to know the Role:
- Development, coordination and improvement of training programs and processes for debt collectors.
- - During the onboarding process
- - Regular repeated training to improve collection skills
- Development of processes which will allow to identify and arrange suitable training solutions for debt collectors who need support in performance improvement.
- Quality control: actively search, creatively design and implement effective methods to evaluate the performance and control the quality of collection actions.
- Development, coordination and improvement of soft-skills training programs.
- Responsible for teams across South-East Asia: recruitment, train, supervise and guide staff.
- Manage and evaluate team to identify the needs for technical and professional growth, evaluate employee performance and provides guidance and feedback.
- Broadcast the culture and philosophy of the Company.
The Must Haves:
- Bachelor’s degree in any field, relevant education will be an advantage.
- Min 3 years of equivalent experiences in training for collections in a financial institutions or debt collection companies.
- Proven ability to lead by example and foster mentoring relationships.
- Outstanding verbal, written, multi-tasking and presentation skills.
- Ability to create momentum and foster organisational change.
- Fluent English.
Good to have:
- Professional trainer certifications.
- Degree or certifications in psychology.
- Familiar with any South-East Asian language would be an advantage.
